Thank you to Texans on Mission for their generous donation of hygiene items for our Free Food Market! ❤️ texansonmission

Items like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal care essentials may seem small, but they make a big difference for families facing difficult seasons. These are necessities that can’t be purchased with SNAP benefits and are often some of the hardest items for families to afford.

Because of partners like Texas Mission, we’re able to provide these important items alongside food and help care for our neighbors with dignity and compassion.

🥣 Thank You, Texas Health & Mouser! 🥣

We're so grateful for two incredible community partners who are helping keep our Free Food Market shelves stocked this summer.

Texas Health Hospital Mansfield recently hosted a cereal drive and donated enough cereal to provide an amazing 5,200 servings for local families! During the summer months, cereal is one of our most-needed items because it's a quick, easy meal that kids can prepare when school is out.

We're also thankful for Mouser Electronics and their generous $1,000 donation, which will help us purchase even more cereal for families in need.

Together, these gifts will help ensure children and families have access to nutritious food throughout the summer.

Thank you, Texas Health and Mouser, for your generosity, partnership, and commitment to serving our community. We are blessed to have organizations like you investing in the well-being of our neighbors.

💛 What a Blessing! 💛

A huge thank you to Christ Fellowship Church Mansfield for hosting a food drive during their recent VBS and collecting an incredible:

🥫 1,203 pounds of food
🧴 438 bottles of shampoo and body wash

The timing of this donation couldn't have been more perfect. Just before we picked up the food drive, our Free Food Market was down to its last two boxes of cereal. Then God provided in a big way through the generosity of this church family.

Because of your kindness, our shelves are stocked, our market guests will have access to essential items, and hundreds of families will be blessed.

Thank you, Christ Fellowship Church, for teaching your children the importance of serving others and for making a tangible difference in our community. We are grateful for your partnership and the many ways you share God's love with those in need.

🚧 Construction Update! 🚧

A lot is happening behind the scenes at our future home, even if it doesn’t always look exciting from the road!

Over the past several weeks, crews have been focused on preparing a strong foundation for the new building. This process required digging several feet into the ground—deep enough to completely cover a bulldozer in some areas—before carefully filling and compacting the soil to ensure a solid base for the years ahead.

While much of this work is happening below the surface, it’s a critical step in creating a facility that will serve our community well for generations to come.

We’re grateful to report that construction continues to move forward at a good pace, and we are hopeful to be in our new home this fall!

As we move closer to that day, we would appreciate your continued prayers:

🙏 Continued support from our community as we work toward moving into this facility debt-free

🍦 A little sweetness for some very sweet people.

Today, we surprised our amazing volunteers with cold treats to help beat the Texas heat. No special occasion. No volunteer appreciation week. Just a small way to say thank you.

Our volunteers give their time, energy, talents, and hearts to serve others every single day. Mansfield Mission Center and Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store simply wouldn’t be what it is without them.

We’re grateful for each person who chooses to spend their time making a difference in our community. You are seen, appreciated, and loved.

At our team devotional this morning, we talked about summits—the mountaintops we hope to reach and the challenges we face along the way.

The truth is, no one reaches the summit without first navigating steep climbs, obstacles, and moments when the path feels difficult. Growth happens in the climb.

At Mansfield Mission Center, we see that every day. Our neighbors are working through financial hardships, health challenges, food insecurity, and unexpected life circumstances. We also see incredible resilience, courage, and determination as they continue taking one step forward at a time.

As an organization, we're climbing too. Whether it's expanding services, building our new campus, or meeting growing needs in our community, we're reminded that meaningful work rarely comes without challenges.

Today, we're grateful for the journey, the people climbing alongside us, and the God who gives us strength for every step. The summit is worth it.

A huge thank you to our first FUGE group of the summer for spending the week serving alongside us at Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store! 💙

These students jumped right in at our thrift store, helping sort donations, stock shelves, organize merchandise, and keep things running smoothly for our shoppers and community members.

We are grateful for their servant hearts, positive attitudes, and willingness to spend part of their summer making a difference in the lives of others. Thank you for choosing to serve with us—we loved having you and hope to see you again!
