From one beautiful and wonderful woman that I love calling her daughter….
I can’t even begin to write a caption for this one without tears. December will mark 10 years since we lost and I’m still not over the denial phase. This year marks the first time that I’ve been able to come to Texas since he passed. I can’t go to the shop. I can’t see it without him there. I can’t get the memorial tattoo. Memorial tattoos are for loved ones that have passed. He can’t be gone. He was my rock. My saving grace. My everyday pep talk. He was family. I still can’t accept that he’s gone.

I made it to Dallas and I was so excited to see and - When I saw Mama Nay, I broke down in her arms. I never cry. I did today. This woman has been there for me through every life event, including the death of her son. Pulling me through, picking up the pieces, keeping me whole. I didn’t want to let them go when they dropped me back at the hotel.
