Today, we celebrated one of our most valued community partners, our friends at Vandevere! 🎉🚙

For over a decade, VanDevere Kia has partnered with our Summer Youth Work Experience through Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities, helping students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain the skills, experience, and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace and become active members of their communities.

Their support extends even further through their Thrive & Drive program, which has provided a vehicle donation to our Big Blue Raffle for the past six years. In recognition of their outstanding partnership and commitment to our mission, Vandevere was honored with our Brighter Futures Award at last year's Bright & Blue Gala.

Partnerships like this make a lasting impact, creating opportunities for the individuals we serve to learn, grow, and thrive. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Vandevere team for their dedication, generosity, and continued support of our mission. 💙

Our friends from the Center spent last week at Fresh Air Camp! Between NASCAR races, fishing, visits with the farm animals, and plenty of crafts and games, there was always something fun to do. Thank you, Fresh Air Camp, for another amazing year! 💙

As we prepare to kick off the ThriveK All Abilities Series this weekend, we’re reflecting on the purpose behind its creation and all the incredible connections it has fostered in our communities.

For 65 years, our mission has been to create opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive. Five years ago, we launched the ThriveK as an extension of that commitment—bringing together individuals, families, supporters, and community partners in celebration of connection and inclusion through this event that is truly community-based.

We look forward to celebrating with you at this year’s ThriveK events in Columbus and Cleveland.
