Summer, you’ve had your turn. Pack it up.

I’m ready for chilly mornings, sweaters, something simmering on the stove, and an unreasonable number of cups of tea.

And I’ve been preparing for this moment because the fall tea lineup is GOOD this year.

Scandal Broth. Orange Spice. Double Ginger. Lady Whistledown. Lemon Ginger.

The “ber” months officially begin tomorrow. 🍂

Scandal Broth: Warm cinnamon, orange, clove & vanilla over a bold black tea. Cozy, spicy and just scandalous enough.

Lady Whistledown: A fruity, floral black tea with raspberry, blackberry, rose & rose hips. Pretty, proper, and absolutely here for the gossip.

Double Ginger: Ginger on ginger with citrus, berries & a little peppery kick. Bright, warming and caffeine-free.

Orange Spice: Classic black tea layered with orange, cinnamon, clove & cardamom. Basically fall in a teacup.

Lemon Ginger: Zesty lemon, warming ginger, roasted chicory & spice. Bright, cozy and caffeine-free.

Mineral Magic: A rich, earthy herbal blend packed with mineral-rich herbs for an easy everyday cup. Nourishing, caffeine-free, and one of those teas you’ll actually want to drink daily.

ROSE PETAL + PEACH JAM

I’ve been making this with my mom since I was a little girl, and now I spend all summer tossing rose petals into a bag in my freezer waiting for peach season.

If you grow unsprayed roses and have peaches sitting on your counter, MAKE THIS.

Rose Petal Peach Jam

* 7 cups chopped peaches
* 2 cups rose petals, loosely packed
* ¼ cup lemon juice
* 4 cups sugar (the package will call for 7, but I never use that much)
* 1 pouch liquid pectin

Add your peaches, rose petals, lemon juice and sugar to a large pot. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring often.

Add the liquid pectin and return to a hard boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Ladle into hot half-pint jars, leaving ¼-inch headspace. Wipe the rims, add lids and rings, and process in a boiling-water canner for 10 minutes (adjust for altitude as needed).

And please, use fragrant, unsprayed roses you know are safe to eat. This is not the time for the grocery-store bouquet 😂

Summer isn’t over yet mama! Go get the peaches. Pick the roses. Make the jam.

Save this one. I have a feeling you’ll be making it every August too.

We all have our gifts. Mine just happen to involve mason jars and plants.

Red raspberry leaf episode 3 is next, and we’re making an oxymel.

What’s something your grandma did for sickness that you thought was weird as a kid… but now you realize she was onto something?

If I could make ONE part of learning herbalism ridiculously simple for you, what would you want me to teach you? 🌿
