🥳🎉Celebrating ONE year of Allure Aesthetics + Wellness!
It's hard to believe that one year ago I opened the doors of Allure Aesthetics + Wellness!
Where do I even begin to summarize what this year has been! Pictures and videos only show part of the story, and I must admit I am proud of myself! Nothing about this year has been easy but through it all I have grown so much, both personally and professionally, and also realized how resilient I am!
Allure Aesthetics + Wellness first began with just me as a solo provider in a one room 110 sq ft space in Dubuque and moved to almost 1,000 sq ft in Maquoketa, Iowa with now two employees!
I am beyond grateful for each one of you, for sharing and liking my posts, for choosing me as your provider, for telling your family and friends and for supporting me through each change, including continuing to choose me as your provider even though it may mean driving farther. Without you, Allure would not continue to thrive and exist as it does today and I do not take that for granted.
I know you have a lot of choices when it comes to your aesthetics and wellness care so it is not lost on me how special it is that you choose me.
And if you haven't come in yet, I can't wait to see you!

🥳It's my birthday!!
I don't have a social media manager and I write all my own captions so there isn't anyone to tell you all the great things about me 😂
Instead, here are some life lessons turning 40 has taught me:

•discomfort over resentment
•collaboration happens at the top, competition happens at the bottom (there is always enough to go around, trust me 😉)
•boundaries, have them and honor them
•say no to the things that don't bring you joy, this is how you protect your peace and your time
•health is wealth, take care of your skin and your body now, your future self will thank you
•laugh more, have fun, go on the trips!!
•a life without regrets is the best life, chase your dreams!
•some friendships are only meant for a season and that's ok, prioritize the ones that matter
•the energy you put out into the world comes back to you, positivity always wins
•deep sleep is the best, protect it at all costs... and so many I could keep going!

It is such a privilege to be alive and I am so grateful for every day that I get to keep doing this big, beautiful life! Thank you for being a part of it! ❤️ Cheers to many more trips around the sun!
