Many Texans face barriers to accessing the mental health and substance use care they need. Last week, Lone Star Circle of Care's Director of Behavioral Health Therapy-Quality, Dydia Burnsed, LCSW, joined behavioral health leaders from across Texas as a panelist at the 2026 Behavioral Health Policy Summit. The discussion focused on strengthening the behavioral health workforce, expanding access to care, and advancing policy solutions that help more Texans get the services they need. Dydia contributed to conversations around workforce development and policy changes, including expanding Medicaid reimbursement opportunities for certain behavioral health professionals.
⭐ Thank you to the Texas Coalition for Healthy Minds for including Lone Star Circle of Care in this important conversation.
