Here’s where I need my community.

Michigan Roots doesn’t have the advertising budget of a massive healthcare system.

What I do have is something much more personal:

you.

The people I’ve cared for.
The professionals I’ve worked beside.
The providers who trust me with their patients, and the communities I built this service to help.

Every comment, review, recommendation and share helps someone discover an option they may not have known existed.

So if you believe having services like this available locally matters, please share this post.

You may have someone on your friends list who has been putting off bloodwork for months or even years.

Someone without reliable transportation.

Someone caring for a medically fragile child.

Someone who can’t easily leave their home.

Someone terrified of needles.

Or someone who simply didn’t know they could say:

“Can the lab come to me?”

Yes.

That’s exactly what Michigan Roots is here for. 🌱🩸

Compassionate care. Mobile convenience. Rooted in you.

🩸 You don’t have to be homebound to use a mobile lab.

I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions about what I do.

Michigan Roots Mobile Lab is for the senior who has trouble getting out of the house… but it’s ALSO for the busy mom, the person working all week, the patient who hates sitting in a waiting room, the person with transportation issues, or simply someone who would rather have their labs drawn in the comfort of their own home.

Have an order from your doctor? I can come to you.

Need a specialty kit drawn? I do those too.

Need help figuring out where your specimens need to go? That’s literally what I do. ❤️

I started Michigan Roots because healthcare doesn’t always have to mean rearranging your entire day just to get blood drawn.

Sometimes it can simply mean opening your front door. 🩸🏡

Compassionate care. Mobile convenience. Rooted in you. 🌿

What would make YOU choose a mobile blood draw instead of going into a lab?

$4.59 a gallon. 😳⛽️

Just a little behind-the-scenes look at what “mobile” actually means.

When you book Michigan Roots Mobile Lab, I’m not sitting in an office waiting for you to come to me.

I come to YOU.

That means fuel. Miles. Drive time. Supplies. Processing. Paperwork. Coordinating orders. Getting your specimens where they need to go — and sometimes driving a whole lot farther than people realize.

And somehow, even at $4.59 a gallon, I still absolutely love what I do. ❤️

Because for the elderly patient who doesn’t drive anymore…
the mom who doesn’t want to drag her sick child into a waiting room…
the person going through cancer treatment…
the Amish family who needs care brought to them…
or the busy person who simply cannot take half a day off work for labs…

those miles matter.

Michigan Roots Mobile Lab was built to bridge the gap between “I need labs done” and “How am I supposed to get there?”

So yep… I’ll grumble at the gas pump for a minute. 😂 Then I’ll fill her up and keep rolling.

Compassionate care. Accurate results. Rooted in you. 🌿❤️

🩸 YOUR PTO IS FOR YOU.

Your paid time off should be exactly that — your time.

A mental health day.
A long weekend.
A day to rest, recharge, spend time with your family, or simply take care of YOU.

It shouldn’t have to be spent taking half a day off work to drive a loved one to the lab, find parking, sit in a waiting room, get their blood drawn, and drive them back home.

🌿 That’s where Michigan Roots Mobile Lab comes in.

We bring professional, compassionate mobile lab collection directly to your loved one. 🏡🩸

Whether it’s an aging parent, someone with limited mobility, an immunocompromised loved one, a child, or simply someone who would be more comfortable having their blood drawn at home — we help make the process simple, convenient, and personal.

Less running around.
Less disruption to your day.
Less time sitting in waiting rooms.
More comfort for the people you love. ❤️

Save your PTO for YOU. Let us help take care of the lab trip.

Already have an order from your doctor? I can come to your home, collect your specimen, and deliver it to the appropriate laboratory for processing.

🌿 Want to order your own testing?
Michigan Roots provides access to 2,000+ self-pay testing options, including wellness bloodwork, vitamin and nutrient testing, hormones, food sensitivities, DUTCH testing, specialty kits, and more — with affordable options available.

For exhausted new parents — especially those juggling other children — this can be a game changer. No packing up the baby, loading everyone into the car, sitting in a waiting room, or unnecessarily bringing your newborn into a busy healthcare setting during cold and flu season.
