CHIP is such a great program and I am very proud of our interns!

This week we're celebrating—and saying goodbye to—our Northwest Wisconsin AHEC intern, Katie, as she wraps up her 8-week internship with us. We're going to miss her!

Katie has jumped into all kinds of projects during our busy summer season, but one of her biggest behind-the-scenes accomplishments has been digitizing our collection of historic Somerset photographs.

These images will be uploaded to Recollection Wisconsin, a statewide digital collection that preserves and shares Wisconsin's history online. Through Recollection Wisconsin, people can easily search, discover, and enjoy historical photographs, documents, maps, and other materials from libraries, museums, archives, and historical societies across the state.

Thank you, Katie, for all of your hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to tackle whatever came your way this summer. We wish you all the best in your next adventure!

Our intern, Emily, getting wonderful recognition from her host site, The Deerfield! What an amazing match Emily was for them! Great work Emily and I am so proud of you! Thank you Deerfield for welcoming her with open arms and creating an amazing internship for her!

I was able visit one of our CHIP interns in person yesterday! Emily was placed with Presbyterian Homes, The Deerfield and has been having the best time!

I got to see her in action with the life enrichment team and residents! She was fantastic! Keep up the great work Emily!

Northwest AHEC, Program Manager, Niccy, joined over 170 fellow AHEC staff from across the nation in DC with some of our Wisconsin Colleagues for the NAO Leadership Summit! Our AHEC team was educating on the hill and visiting the Capitol to share our great work!
