My loves, your girl is taking a sacred pause! 💕

October is dedicated to REST, REFLECTION & RENEWAL. After a year of holding space for mamas, women & m pouring into others, I’m taking some time to pour back into myself and reconnect with Spirit.

During my sabbatical, our brick and mortar & online shop will be closed. However, we will continue providing birth and doula services to our clients in NYC and Georgia. Our phone lines and emails will remain open for inquiries and client support.

I have some BIG news for my womb practitioners, doulas, social workers, therapists, birth workers, and healing professionals. 🌸

One of my students reached out to tell me that she submitted her Womb Practitioner Initiation + Training to her licensing board for her professional license renewal, and the training was accepted for continuing education credit due to its TRAUMA informed education.

Y’all… 🥹

This means eligible professionals may be able to receive 18 CEU HOURS while learning the sacred womb work I have spent years developing, practicing, and teaching.

So now we’re talking about professional development AND womb-centered education in the same room.

And this means so much to me because this training goes far beyond learning ceremonies and techniques. We talk about the real experiences women carry into our spaces.

We cover birth trauma, reproductive trauma, pregnancy loss, miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, sexual trauma and abuse, grief, generational trauma, bodily autonomy, consent, boundaries, nervous-system awareness, grounding, trauma-informed communication, practitioner ethics, scope of practice, referrals, culturally rooted healing practices, spiritual and emotional womb healing, practitioner sustainability, energetic hygiene, and creating safer spaces for the women we serve.

We also talk about something I believe every healer needs to understand:

How do you hold sacred space for someone without trying to become their therapist?

How do you recognize trauma?

How do you honor what is coming up?

How do you stay within your scope?

How do you know when someone needs additional clinical support?

And how do you care for yourself while holding space for other people?

THAT is Womb Practitioner work.

For years, I have said that womb work deserves to be taken seriously as an area of education, study, professional development, and culturally rooted care.

🌿 GUEST SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT | NYC🌿

We are honored to welcome Dr. Rana Snipe Berry as a special guest speaker for our Womb Practitioner Training & Initiation in New York City.

Dr. Berry brings a powerful intersection of clinical medicine, herbal wisdom, reproductive health, and education into the womb healing space.

She is a Board-Certified OB/GYN, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, Assistant Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, practicing physician, trained herbalist, poet, writer, educator, and creator of The Herbal Gynecologist™.

What makes her presence in this training especially meaningful is that Dr. Berry continues to actively care for patients across the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology while teaching and speaking on reproductive and gynecologic health.

For our Womb Practitioners, this is an opportunity to learn from a physician who understands the importance of bringing clinical knowledge and traditional herbal wisdom into conversation with one another.

This is the caliber of education we are cultivating inside the Womb Practitioner Training.

Not simply learning techniques, but developing practitioners who can understand the womb through multiple lenses, communicate responsibly about reproductive health, recognize when clinical care is necessary, and become stronger collaborators within the larger continuum of care.
