Our very own Rachel Peck won the Amedisys Heart of Hospice Award this morning for her dedication and care of our Hospice patients. What a wonderful award to win. To say we are proud is an understatement. Rachel goes above and beyond everyday for all of our residents here at Marietta Heights.

Big changes are coming to Medicare in 2027. With the largest wave of baby boomers aging into Medicare and claims hitting record highs on both Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans, many experts are expecting changes across the board. Medicare Advantage plans may see benefit adjustments, network changes, and higher out-of-pocket exposure, while Medicare Supplement rates are also expected to increase due to the rising number of claims being paid out.

This is why it’s more important than ever to review your coverage yearly and make sure your plan still fits your doctors, prescriptions, and budget. What worked 2-3 years ago may not be the best fit moving forward.

We wrapped up National Nursing Home Week with an unforgettable Hawaiian-themed celebration here at Marietta Heights Post Acute! 🌺☀️

From our facility cookout to fun games, an epic water balloon fight, and a cute furry friend, this week was filled with laughter, teamwork, and so many smiles. We are beyond grateful for our incredible staff, residents, families, and community who make our facility feel like home every single day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special — we appreciate all that you do more than words can say!
