I miss you! Do you miss us?
I'm sorry to the few of you who missed the message and showed up these past weeks. We are closed a few days more and will be back next week, and then closed again the weekend after for BlessFest SORRY!
Well...
Here is a story of our arctic circle adventures:
It took us 7 flights to finally arrive in Kotzebue near the Bering Land Bridge at the gateway to Kobuk. Our plane was full of Inuit locals and hunters embarking on tundra hunting and fishing expeditions. The airport was tiny and we walked straight to the only hotel in town. No rental cars here. I noticed when leaving the parking lot huge boulders spaced around like the big concrete blocks that keep you from driving into things. I wheeled my little luggage between them and my head hummed. .... "what in the world?", I thought.
Too many flights.
But there it was again and I looked around, bewildered.
Hmm.
Those blocks are green.
"Hi, I'm Jade", they said.
I felt like that guy from tiktok that says, "WHAT? no wayyyy".
I touched it. Yep, Jade. Sweet, cool, healing immediately. I laid on it.
My heart sang.
I thought, "wow look at you, you're the luckiest girl in the world laying on huge blocks of JADE in the arctic circle."
Reg caught up, looked at me funny.
I whispered, "jaade!" To which he said, "WHAT? no wayyyy".
He has been pulling over to let me sift through roadside rubble ever since... it's everyyyywhere.
Jade is a sweet healer. Luck stone, heart opener. One for attracting prosperity and good vibes.
Man I got 'em. The luckiest girl in the world.
See you soon friends! Xo
