Johns Creek Fire Department is pleased to announce that we have raised over $8,700 this year for the Marcus Autism Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We’d like to thank everyone who donated as well as recognize our local Johns Creek Kroger grocery stores who assisted us in raising funds for this cause.

The Silver Comet Trail.

Today marks a major step forward in helping keep the Silver Comet Trail safer for everyone who walks, runs, bikes, and enjoys the trail.

We would like to congratulate the City of Rockmart on the installation of the first outdoor AED and SaveStation cabinet along the Silver Comet Trail. This project was made possible through the partnership and support of AdventHealth and The EMS Super Store.

The Silver Comet Trail stretches nearly 95 miles from Smyrna all the way to the Georgia-Alabama state line, serving thousands of visitors every year. Having quick access to an AED can make the difference between life and death during a sudden cardiac emergency.

This installation is more than just a cabinet on a trail — it is another step toward creating safer parks, trails, and communities across Georgia. We are proud to be part of a project that helps protect the people who live, work, and play in these communities.

Thank you to the City of Rockmart for taking the lead in heart-safe community preparedness. We look forward to seeing even more AED locations added along the Silver Comet Trail in the future.e future.
