Please join us in welcoming Brittany Rutter, B.S., R.T.(R)(CT), as Director of Radiology at Crittenden Community Hospital!

Brittany brings an impressive combination of clinical experience, leadership, and dedication to patient care. She graduated from the Radiology Program at Madisonville Community College in 2019 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Management from the University of Southern Indiana in 2024.

For the past seven years, Brittany has served as a Multi-Modality Technologist at Deaconess Union County Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in medical imaging and developed a strong passion for providing exceptional patient care. She also spent a year and a half as a clinical coordinator and instructor at Madisonville Community College, sharing her knowledge and experience with future radiologic technologists.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her children. Together, they love traveling, kayaking, camping, racing dirt bikes, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

We are excited to have Brittany’s experience, enthusiasm, and leadership guiding our Radiology Department. Please help us give her a warm welcome to the Crittenden Community Hospital team! 💙

Beginning Wednesday, August 19, Sugata Sensarma, MD, will provide pulmonology care at Crittenden every other Wednesday. Dr. Sensarma is board-certified in pulmonology, critical care, and internal medicine.

Crittenden Community Hospital is partnering with Owensboro Health to bring convenient breast cancer screenings directly to our community through the Owensboro Health Mobile Mammography Clinic.

📅 Second Monday of every month

Annual screening mammograms are recommended for women beginning at age 40. Most screenings take only 15–20 minutes and are covered by insurance. Financial assistance may also be available for those without insurance.

We’re excited to welcome Carly Tharp, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, to our team! Carly will be serving patients through both our Outpatient Therapy and Home Health Services teams.

Carly may already be a familiar face to many in our community! Before beginning her career in occupational therapy, she spent seven years at Glenn’s Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, where many of you may have gotten to know her friendly smile and caring personality.

Carly graduated with honors from Madisonville Community College (MCC) with her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. During her time at MCC, she was also recognized with the 2025 Kentucky Occupational Therapy Leader Award as the program’s most outstanding OTA student—an achievement that reflects her dedication to the profession and the patients she will serve.

We’re thrilled to have Carly join our team and look forward to the skills, compassion, and energy she’ll bring to our patients and community.
