Dear Patients and Friends,
I want to share an important update about our dental practice. I am grateful to announce that Settle Dental Group will transition to the ownership of Dr. James Burris. While the leadership is changing, the commitment to personalized, high-quality care that defines Settle Dental Group will remain the same. Alongside him, Dr. Samantha Gross, Dr. Noah Franklin, and Dr. Connor Followell will continue providing the exceptional dental care and compassionate service that you have come to know and trust. I have every confidence that this outstanding team will honor the values that have always been at the heart of this practice and will continue caring for you and your families for many years to come.
As this chapter comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey my husband and I shared through this practice. What began as a profession became so much more because of you. Our patients have never simply been appointments on a schedule. You have been close friends and an extension of our family.
When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and throughout his courageous fight, your prayers, cards, meals, kind words, and countless acts of compassion carried us through some of the darkest days of our lives. After his passing, your continued love, patience, and unwavering support have meant more than I could ever adequately express. Your kindness surrounded our family with comfort and reminded us of the extraordinary community we have been blessed to serve.
My husband loved being a dentist. He was passionate about caring for his patients, building relationships that lasted decades, and helping people smile with confidence. It was never just about dentistry to him. It was about serving others with integrity, compassion, and genuine care. I know he would be deeply thankful for the trust and loyalty you showed him throughout his career.
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to our incredible staff. Their loyalty, compassion, and constant dedication have been the heart of this practice for so many years. They have celebrated life's joys with us and stood beside our family through its greatest heartbreak. During my husband's illness, they carried extra responsibilities with grace, cared for our patients as if they were their own families, and continued to serve with professionalism, kindness, and love. I will forever be thankful for their faithfulness, resilience, and friendship. This practice would not be what it is today without each and every one of them.
While saying goodbye is never easy, I do so with peace, knowing that the practice my husband built and loved will continue in capable and caring hands. Dr. Burris, Dr. Gross, Dr. Franklin, and Dr. Followell share a commitment to excellence and patient-centered care. I know they will continue the legacy of compassion, sincerity, and quality that has always defined this office.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and for trusting my staff with your dental care over the years. Thank you for every prayer, every encouraging word, every hug, and every expression of love. Those gifts will stay with me forever.
Although this transition marks the end of an era for our family, I know my husband's legacy will live on. It lives on not only in the smiles he helped create, but in the relationships he built, the lives he touched, and the values that will continue to guide this practice for years to come.
It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community.
With heartfelt gratitude and love,
Brynne Settle
