We will honor the calming energy of the moon as it moves through a full phase August 29th. Moon Salutation is soothing and cooling.
A restorative flow to help balance the energies within us while improving flexibility in our hamstrings, hips, and spine. We will practice in a warm room with cool towels to follow.

Tapas in yoga means self-discipline, inner fire, and passionate effort. It comes from a Sanskrit word that means "to burn" or "to heat". It is the third personal rule (niyama) in the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Tapas shows up every time you show up for yourself on your mat. You work hard, breathing through that tough posture and not giving up on your strength.
Tapas shows up off of your mat when you burn down the old, unhelpful habits and actions, remaining strong and focused in the face of adversities.
Join us at 8am, August 15th to light that inner fire deep in your belly with a class full of core compression drills, and a little balance play.

Certainty isn't always the problem.

Sometimes certainty helps us begin.

It gives us enough ground to step forward, choose a path, trust a teaching, or stay with a practice long enough to learn from it.

But over time, practice can change our relationship to certainty.

What once felt fixed may become more alive.

What once felt simple may reveal more layers.

What once felt like the final answer may become a doorway into deeper listening.

That isn't a loss of confidence.

It's confidence becoming more spacious.

Practice doesn't always make certainty disappear.

Sometimes it teaches certainty how to bow.

To experience.

To humility.

To the mystery that keeps revealing more than we first knew how to see.
