Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in the trenches of motherhood — the ones recovering, pumping at 3am, learning their baby’s cues, advocating fiercely, and doing the best they can every single day 🤍
Today we celebrate every mother, every loss, every long-awaited baby, every NICU journey, and every version of motherhood. You are seen, supported, and appreciated more than you know 🌷✨

As a NICU nurse, I see how quickly things can change for moms and babies.
Preeclampsia is more common and more dangerous than many realize.
1 in 25 pregnancies are affected, and it doesn’t always end at delivery.
This month is about awareness, advocacy, and making sure every mom is heard. 🤍
I’m running the for to support safer pregnancies worldwide—if you’re able to donate or share, it means so much-link in bio!!!!

Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes—and over 80% of these deaths are preventable. This is driven by systemic racism, bias, and inequities in care.
As healthcare providers, advocates, and communities—we must listen, learn, and act. Change is overdue. 🤍

April is C Section Awareness Month. A birth is a birth no matter which way your baby comes out 🤍 And for the mamas planning to breastfeed after a C-section, your journey matters too.

Breastfeeding may look a little different at first, with added recovery, positioning challenges, and the need for extra support!! Skin-to-skin, patience, and support can make all the difference. It is possible 🤍

It’s official I’m running the NYC Marathon for Every Mother Counts. 🧡
a non profit that is near and dear to my heart, because childbirth should be an exciting time not frightening. Every day, more than 700 women die from pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum complications. These are not just numbers—they are mothers, daughters, families.
Chances are, you are pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or love someone who is. This matters to all of us. I’m running for them. I’m running for change. I’m running so every mother counts. link in bio to donate ☀️🤍

Happy IBCLC day to all my co IBCLCs. So proud to support our tiniest fighters and the strongest parents through every drop, every pump session, every milestone.
Happy IBCLC Day 🤍💐

Being on the other side of the hospital bed this week changed me.
Watching my dad go through two major back surgeries (and a quick ICU stop) gave me even deeper empathy for families who live in those hallways for weeks and months.
So grateful to be a nurse. Even more grateful to understand their hearts a little better. 🤍
