U.P. Diabetes Outreach Network

U.P. Diabetes Outreach Network UPDON's mission is to promote innovative partnerships to strengthen the prevention, detection & management of diabetes across the U.P. Our Help for U.P.

We provide continuing education (often free) for nurses and dietitians. We also offer PATH (Personal Action Towards Health) workshops. PATH is a 6 week workshop for people living with any chronic health concern. We don't charge for PATH but do accept donations. College Students program connects full-time students without insurance to resources, supplies and a diabetes educator. We support Camp UPe

ninsulin, a week-long camp for U.P. children with diabetes. We have also been working in partnership with NMU students to promote the free Medicare Diabetes Screening benefit.
