We got to do one of the best things this week! We got to support nationally #5 ranked St. Cloud State Volleyball as they played at NMU in the UP North Volleyball tournament (going 4-0 on the weekend, whoop)!

Drs. Brianne and Kevin both played at SCSU in St. Cloud, MN on the volleyball and basketball teams waaaayy back when (over a decade ago). It was so fun to see the team and Brianne’s coaches who she had when she played at SCSU!

Go Huskies!!

And of course we had to feed them the local favorite Border Grill

Ever heard of microneedling?

It’s sometimes referred to as “natural Botox” but I don’t think that fits it exactly and truthfully has a completely different goal. Botox aims to shut down a muscle’s job (to contract and help expression to show happy/sad/frustrated/you get the point!) versus microneedling actually ENHANCES your body’s natural functioning.

Microneedling increases collagen by over 400% while also increasing elastin and cell turnover to minimize those fine lines, wrinkles, aging, and acne scars on the face in a gentle way. It’s gentle enough to be used in pregnancy and breastfeeding (I’ve even done it during these times!)

Aging is a privilege. There’s so much beauty in getting to live another year but often we want to “soften” the signs of aging to improve our skin texture and functioning without harmful chemicals and toxins.

This is why I love microneedling!
