Summer school under the maples.
Our spring was so busy (good busy but breakneck speed busy) that Iā€™m finally feeling a little breathing room (just in time for everything to start again šŸ˜‚)
Thinking about a new school year ahead, growing our business, farm dreams (always) and some personal goals and habits that I really want and need to incorporate into our life. Feeling very introspective and inspiredā€¦ one of the true gifts of slowing down; a necessary re-evaluation.

The season of abundance is upon us. This is the first year that we have actually set out to grow a significant amount of our families food. Az is tough for gardens and in the past I have had too many little ones to keep track of to fully dive in. Since moving to Missouri, this is the second season we have had the resources to set up a somewhat sufficiently sized growing space. Growing food is a uniquely beautiful and intoxicating experience. Itā€™s almost like we were made for this šŸ˜ I am excited to learn how to ferment and preserve all of this goodness and will most certainly feel totally overwhelmed come the end of August. But the excitement now is high.
