This week Alex from Gentiva came by to decorate fall cookies. Some of our Friends were really focused on completing their project before eating...and others decided to enjoy their cookie right away.

There's no wrong way to eat a yummy sugar cookie!! 😋

We really appreciate our professional partners sharing a little of their time with us each month!!

Oh my lands!!! 😲

Apparently, we somehow offended a member of our City Hall yesterday with our fun outing with 20 of our Friends and team enjoying the gorgeous day!

We certainly will not apologize for our actions that created so much JOY for us and just about everyone we encountered along our journey! So much so, that our Friends are still talking about it today!! 😊

But we would highly encourage you to get outside, enjoy the gorgeous weather we are having and find yourself some JOY!

Life is too dang short!

We would love to invite you to come and visit our program to see the magic we create for our Friends. ❤️

Please note, we would also like to thank our friends at the Martinsville Police Department for stopping by today and following up on this concern that was registered! 🚔

Beep! Beep! 👋 👋 Friends on the Go September was AWESOME!!

For all the neighbors in your yard or passing by that waved as three golf carts loaded with our Friends and our Martinsville team members drove by on our own little "parade," thank you for participating!!!

You helped make a gorgeous day out so much more fun!

We enjoyed a perfect day with lunch on the patio at Gather Around BBQ and some of us enjoyed our first visit to The Inside Scoop for a round of shakes, sundaes or cones for all!

So many smiles and laughs! 😃

Joni Chastain with her Grilling Trivia and Quotes..."I like Pig butts and I cannot lie" brought a chuckle to many! 😆 🤣 (we were all pretty hungry at that point!)

Ms. Helen shared, "Where do you find all the wonderful staff to do this?" I shared, "We've been really blessed!" ❤️

Our Friends on the Go program is a result of a Community Foundation of Morgan County Women Who Give grant earlier this year!

Friends on the Go allows our Friends to experience our community, visit new restaurants, and have fun outside of our building! It takes a lot of coordination prior to, and teamwork the day of, to pull it all off...and it is worth every detail to make it happen!!!

Want more information to get your loved one involved too? Visit www.aseniorretreat.com or call 317-999-8145!

Enjoyed the evening with other professional care partners at Stonecroft Health Campus for their Flower Walk event!

The opportunity to learn about services while collecting a bouquet of flowers! Such a cute idea!
