How else am I supposed to entertain my 2- and 4-year-old every day during swim for the big kids?

A proper demo of the Reia pessary and applicator was clearly necessary.

Sound on for a realistic glimpse into life.

I’ve been personally wearing the Reia pessary and have been impressed with this little gadget. Designed to provide support for symptoms like prolapse, pressure, or leakage with activity, it’s a removable option that can help you stay active and confident without surgery.

As a pelvic floor OT, I love having more tools in the toolbox. As a mom sitting poolside, apparently it’s also become my swim-team entertainment.

What happens after you leave the table?

The conversations linger.
The myths get challenged.
The questions finally get asked.

Take what you need. Leave what you don’t.

Because pelvic floor symptoms are common—but they’re not something you have to simply live with.

✨ 1 in 3 women experience bladder leakage.
✨ Nearly half of women will experience prolapse.
✨ More women than ever are prioritizing pelvic health, strength, mobility, and longevity.

If today’s conversation sparked something for you, don’t ignore it.

July new patient openings are now available. Book before they’re gone.

What a night! And my girl was there to capture it all 📸

I had the privilege of serving on a panel for the M Factor event hosted by and , joining an incredible group of women dedicated to bringing awareness, education, and support to one of the most significant transitions in a woman’s life: perimenopause.

More than 150 women showed up to connect, learn, share experiences, and realize they’re not alone in what can often feel like the wild reverse of puberty.

A few facts that often surprise women:

• Perimenopause can begin as early as your mid-30s and last into your 50s.
• Estrogen impacts nearly every system in the body—not just reproduction.
• Research suggests up to 75% of women experience musculoskeletal symptoms during the menopause transition, including joint pain, stiffness, decreased muscle mass, and changes in recovery.
• Urethral closure pressure and pelvic floor support can decline with age and hormonal changes, contributing to symptoms like urinary leakage and urgency.
• Sleep changes, mood shifts, brain fog, hot flashes, tendon injuries, pelvic floor symptoms, and changes in body composition are common—but they’re not something you simply have to “live with.”

The more we talk about it, the less women suffer in silence.

Thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, shared their stories, and helped create a space where women’s health was the priority. Here’s to more conversations, more education, and more support for every woman navigating this chapter.

37.

This week has looked a little different. Work has been quieter while my girl dives into a neuro-intensive PT and OT program. Even though pediatrics isn’t my specialty, I’m always learning, always humbled, and always inspired by my little baddie.

Birthdays have a way of bringing reflection. My late 30s have taught me that boundaries are a form of self-respect, that not everyone needs access to my energy, and that life is often better when I slow down enough to linger, wander, and yes… occasionally dilly dally.

One theme that’s been showing up lately is taking care of my own health. Managing a labral tear. Getting stronger. Learning how to be still. Practicing self-love instead of self-criticism. Remembering that I deserve the same care and compassion I so freely give to others.

And maybe that’s why the work I do matters so much to me. Every day I meet women who are trying to reconnect with their bodies, navigate pelvic floor or abdominal concerns, feel stronger, move with less pain, manage the overwhelm of motherhood, or simply find their way back to themselves.

If that’s you, you’re not alone.

37 feels less about having it all figured out and more about trusting myself enough to keep showing up—with curiosity, grace, and a willingness to grow.

Here’s to another year of learning, healing, strengthening, and embracing the beautiful mess of it all.

It’s been in the works for 2 years, finally here!

Turns out touching your toes isn’t the whole story. ✨

If you’ve ever found yourself effortlessly folding, stretching, or settling into shapes that leave everyone else saying, “how are you doing that?” - this workshop is for you.

Hypermobility can feel like a superpower - but without strength, it can lead to injury. Let’s put it this way: Being able to go there and being supported when you get there are two different conversations.

🌙🐦‍⬛Sunday, June 28 at 12:00pm

Join us for an exploration of the often-overlooked relationship between flexibility, strength, and nervous system support.

Along with Becca’s professional know-how, we’ll unpack what helps a hypermobile body feel informed, supported, and at home in itself - exploring stability, body awareness, strength, nervous system regulation, and practical insights you can take with you long after the workshop ends.

A little anatomy. A little awareness. A deeper understanding of how to support the body you’ve been living in all along.

$34 to attend. Sign up under the “Special Events” tab online or by downloading the Moonbird Yoga app on your phone and choosing the O’Fallon location.
