This is good information for our pregnant patients. Know your legal rights!

If you’re pregnant, have recently given birth, or are dealing with pregnancy-related conditions, you may have questions about what rights and protections you have at work.

Our new committee statement on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) gives ob-gyns an overview of the law and more information about what it covers. The PWFA is a law that requires covered employers to provide reasonable accommodations to pregnant and postpartum employees. It supports people who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or are experiencing any related medical conditions that affect their ability to work.

Can you believe it’s the weekend again? Time goes by so quickly when you love what you do! We always like to let our patients know when Dr. Dalla Riva is off call for the weekend. This is a weekend he is not on call. If you have an urgent question, call our office number and you will be connected to Dr. Midkiff.
