Balance is more than standing on one foot.
It’s learning how to steady yourself in the middle of a busy mind, a full schedule, and the constant pull of everyday life.
Physically, balance work helps:
• Improve stability and coordination
• Strengthen core muscles and posture
• Support joint health and injury prevention
• Increase body awareness and focus
• Build confidence in movement and mobility
Emotionally, balance practice can:
• Calm the nervous system
• Improve concentration and mental clarity
• Help regulate stress and overwhelm
• Encourage patience and self-trust
• Create a sense of grounding and inner steadiness
In class, we’ll move with intention, practice mindful breathing, and explore what it feels like to find balance — not perfection — in both body and mind.
This class is for all levels and all seasons of life.
Come as you are, and give yourself space to reset, reconnect, and restore.
When: Wednesday 5/27 @ 6 p.m.
Where: 2400N. Center Street Maryville, IL
Cost: $10
