We had an incredible time at the LISHP event on Tuesday, May 19 at Morton’s The Steakhouse! Thank you to all of our attendees and vendors for joining us for an evening of networking and learning. Your engagement and support helped make the event a success!

We’re incredibly proud to recognize the Long Island Society of Health-System Pharmacists delegates who represented our chapter at the NYSCHP Annual Assembly House of Delegates earlier in April. Thank you for your dedication, advocacy, and leadership on behalf of LISHP and our profession! Special shout out to Long Island pharmacy technician Gina Giannillo for acting as technician delegate this year!

A special congratulations to past president Veronica Zafonte on her induction as Director of Membership for the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists! We also celebrate her recognition alongside fellow past presidents of the QUAD Chapters with the Team Values Award. A well-deserved honor recognizing collaboration and commitment to advancing pharmacy practice!

And finally, congratulations to our incoming president Sum Lam, who was inducted alongside fellow chapter presidents from across the state. We look forward to her upcoming local installation in June!
