Proceeds raised through this event will support the Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund. This unique fund supports patients being treated at the Southcoast Health Cancer Care and their families by providing assistance to help with utility payments, food, housing, transportation, cancer related supplies and other necessities. Your support allows patients and their families to focus on what is most important - their battle against cancer.

Nicole Podkowa was an avid runner, mother of two, and the wife of Southcoast Health Physician John Podkowa. Nicole lost her battle with cancer in 2016.
In her honor, Dr. Podkowa and his family established the Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund at Southcoast Health Cancer Care.

Free outdoor community yoga is back!

As we move into the warmer months, we would like to thank everyone who supported our Fall and Winter Adult Programming at the New Bedford Boys & Girls Club. Your energy and commitment helped create an amazing wellness community.

We’re excited to continue the journey with our upcoming outdoor Yoga programs:

🧘‍♀️ Yoga at Buttonwood — Mondays at 5:30 PM beginning 6/1
🌿 Yoga at Haskell Public Gardens — Thursdays at 5:30 PM beginning 6/4

Love this story!

Will Sevick, 12, was born without a portion of his right arm. Westfield Middle School teacher Jeff Crist thought a functional prosthetic arm could be designed for Sevick and they made it part of an on-going project.
