Getting results is one thing. Keeping them is another.

Here are 5 things I believe make fitness sustainable:

1. Build a plan you can actually live with.
If you can’t consistently follow it, it’s not the right plan.

2. Don’t rely on motivation.
Build habits and systems that work even when motivation isn’t there.

3. Expect life to get in the way.
Busy weeks, vacations, stress, and unexpected problems are going to happen. Build a plan that can adapt.

4. Don’t let a setback become a spiral.
You don’t need to “start over Monday.” Look for the next opportunity to do something that moves you closer to your goal.

5. Let someone else help you adjust the plan.
Sometimes you’re too close to your own situation to see what’s getting in the way. A coach can provide a different perspective, help you identify the obstacle, and adjust the plan accordingly.

Sustainable results don’t come from doing everything perfectly.

They come from having a plan you can follow, adapting when life changes, and continuing to move forward.

One of the biggest things people forget when setting an exercise goal isn’t the workout—it’s everything around it.

Getting dressed. Finding your shoes. Driving to the gym. Changing. Showering. Those minutes add up.

So when a Fannon Fitness client tells me they can realistically commit to two hours of exercise per week, I’m thinking, “How can I get the biggest return on those two hours?”

Sometimes that means 10–20 minute workouts that require minimal setup but still make a meaningful impact.

Personalized fitness isn’t about finding the perfect program. It’s about finding the most effective program that fits your real life.

“Stay in your comfort zone.”Not exactly the advice you hear in the fitness industry, is it?Here’s the thing: when someone is brand new to exercise, strength training, or improving their nutrition, I don’t want them to feel overwhelmed. I want them to feel successful. That’s why I look for ways to make healthy changes as comfortable and manageable as possible. As confidence grows, so does the willingness to take on bigger challenges. The goal isn’t to throw you into the deep end on day one. The goal is to build habits you can stick with, because consistency beats intensity every time.At Fannon Fitness, I provide personalized fitness for people with real constraints. Together, we’ll build a plan that meets you where you are and grows with you.Ready to stop guessing and start making progress?Book your free consultation and let’s build a plan that fits your life, your schedule, and your goals.Nutrition Intake Form:https://form.jotform.com/260075723876060Exercise Questionnaire:https://form.jotform.com/260074947999073Want to learn more about how I help people with real constraints? I recently had to shop around for homeowners insurance because I was at risk of losing my coverage. After talking with multiple agents, Becky at Farmers Insurance in Mattawan was the only one who could find a policy that met my needs. She also recommended adding sump pump backup coverage—something I didn’t think I needed.A few months later, my sump pump failed, my basement flooded, and that extra coverage made a huge difference. She didn’t just solve the problem I came to her with. She solved one I didn’t even know I had. That’s exactly how I approach fitness coaching.People often come to me wanting to lose weight, build muscle, or get stronger. But along the way they discover benefits they weren’t expecting—less joint pain, better posture, more energy, greater confidence, and the ability to do more of the things they love.At Fannon Fitness, I provide personalized fitness for people with real constraints. My goal isn’t just to help you achieve the result you’re looking for today—it’s to help you build a healthier, more capable future.Ready to stop guessing and start making progress?Book your free consultation and let’s build a plan that fits your life, your schedule, and your goals.Nutrition Intake Form:https://form.jotform.com/260075723876060Exercise Questionnaire:https://form.jotform.com/260074947999073

“Commitment to excellence.”It’s a phrase we hear all the time, but what does it actually mean?To me, excellence isn’t about being 1% better every day or chasing some arbitrary standard.Excellence is built through the habits you repeat consistently. It’s the daily choices that help you be more present with your family, more capable at work, stronger in your faith, and physically able to pursue the things that give your life meaning and purpose. That’s the kind of excellence worth pursuing. At Fannon Fitness, I provide personalized fitness for people with real constraints. Together, we’ll build habits that fit your life and move you toward the person you want to become.Ready to stop guessing and start making progress?Book your free consultation and let’s build a plan that fits your life, your schedule, and your goals.Nutrition Intake Form:https://form.jotform.com/260075723876060Exercise Questionnaire:https://form.jotform.com/260074947999073
