Today was a fun one, full of different projects and completely different styles.
Starting off with Johnny, although many of you may know him as the man with all his favorite foods tattooed on his stomach. As an ode to his lovely wife, he wanted his rendition of every kid’s favorite Halloween trick… and a tattoo Marci also has. I absolutely loved doing this glitter effect on the canine teeth. That was 100% Johnny’s idea, and it represents his colorful, bubbly personality so well. 🤍
Next up, Mike came back for me to add detail to his previously done tribute to his sweet soul dog (originally not done by me). She walked with him through so many stages of life, as a young adult, a fiancé, a husband, a father, and everything in between. There’s little more special than the bond we share with our fur babies. A few months ago, Mike and I collaborated on a piece honoring the women in his life, and after sitting with this tattoo for a while, he realized he wanted to bring more life into it. Adding depth and shading brought new emotion into something that was already deeply meaningful. I loved being trusted with that process and watching this homage feel whole again. 🐾
Last but definitely not least, my dear sweet friend Natalie lost her grandfather a month ago today. I didn’t have the honor of meeting him, but I know there is so much of him that shines through her. In her kindness, her steadiness, and the way she loves her people. Today’s floral tribute was thoughtfully chosen to reflect his life and the legacy he leaves behind. Every stem and petal placed with intention, creating something permanent that she can carry with her always. Even though the impact he had on so many is already etched into their hearts, today we honored him in another lasting way. ✨
Grateful for the trust, the stories, and the opportunity to turn meaning into something you can wear forever.
If you’re looking for work that tells your story, or just something to make you smile my books are open!
