Finally and officially, I am a Certified Teacher Trainer for Ruthy Alon’s Movement Intelligence work. Drawn from the Feldenkrais Method and centered around developing awareness through movement, it is a deep dive into our nervous system and its intimate relationship to movement.

I’d like to offer this 200 hour+ training program beginning in late 2026 or early 2027. In person in Charlotte, NC at Movement Dialogues LLC and with a partial virtual option. The class is open to practitioners who have people facing work and practices and want to develop a deeper understanding of the body piece through movement, as well as other practitioners and individuals wanting intensive learning for their own personal development.

My training as a Somatic Experiencing Practioner and focus on body centered trauma healing really informs my work. I welcome all practitioners working with trauma recovery who want to develop and explore this unique door into the nervous system through the body.

Interruption as a practice of working with coupling dynamics was clarified for me during my Somatic Experiencing training. Whether interrupted by a Practioner or inviting interruption to ourselves, this practice will quickly illuminate the resiliency of the nervous system to shift gears and will inevitably touch on the overall and under coupled patterns our nervous system created to keep us safe. We can be invited to consider having a curious and compassionate attitude toward ourselves when doing this work and as always, just being from the easiest place in small ways that we can begin to integrate. I’m deeply grateful for this work and recommend it highly to humans and practitioners hams everywhere.
