Most people think I’m just looking at where it hurts.

But that’s actually the last thing I focus on.

Because pain is often the end result…
not the starting point.

What I’m really looking for are the subtle signs your body gives before pain shows up:

I was so fun to feel the tight shin loosen up without even working it!!

Old injuries can still have leftover scar tissue that will stay tight causing issues till it is worked out.

Once I released the old injury, the tight shin relaxed all on its own. I only had to go in and massage a small section that ended up releasing pretty quickly!

You dont need more rest…you need more movement

This is where most people get frustrated.

They WANT to move their body because they know it could help…
but every time they try, it hurts too much.

So what do you do?

You start smaller than you think.

Breathing is actually a great place to start. Proper breathing can help calm down your nervous system, reduce tension, and help your body feel safe enough to move again.

Then comes small, gentle movements that DON’T increase your pain.

Not forcing.
Not pushing through.
Just getting the body moving again little by little.

But the real game changer?

Figuring out the ROOT cause of why your pain is happening in the first place.

Because if you only chase symptoms, you’ll keep ending up back on the couch.

Your body is always compensating for something.
My job is to figure out what that “something” is.

I am kinda like a fortune teller…

Because I can usually tell where your pain is headed before it actually shows up.

That forward head posture?
Those locked up hips?
The way your body shifts when you squat, walk or even stand?

Your body is already compensating.

Pain rarely comes out of nowhere. It builds quietly through dysfunction, poor movement patterns, old injuries, stress, desk jobs, scrolling on your phone for hours, and the daily habits you’ve trained your body to adapt to.

Most people wait until their body screams.

I help people catch it while it’s still whispering.

Because prevention is a whole lot easier than trying to undo years of compensation patterns later.

My 4-year-old out here playing soccer with his shirt over his head because apparently that’s his rain gear 😂

Meanwhile adults will skip movement because it’s too cold, too wet, too busy, too late…

Your body was made to move. Not perfectly. Not always comfortably. Just consistently.

Sometimes movement looks like a workout. Sometimes it looks like chasing a soccer ball in the rain with zero visibility 😅

Either way… MOVE. Your body will thank you later.

Your body is screaming at you…
But honestly…you’ve been ignoring it for years.

The headaches.
The tight shoulders.
The low back pain.
The exhaustion.

Your body was not designed to sit folded like a lawn chair all day.

Between desk jobs, doom scrolling, Netflix marathons, and those books we all swear are “for the plot”…most people are spending their entire day stuck in a forward position. 👀

And your body keeps score.

At first it just feels like:
“Ugh, I’m tight.”
“My neck is sore.”
“I probably slept wrong.”

But over time those compensation patterns build:
• Rounded shoulders
• Forward head posture
• Weak glutes & core
• Tight hips
• Neck tension
• Pinched nerves
• Bulging discs
• Chronic pain

The problem is most people wait until their body is screaming before they finally pay attention.

Pain is usually the LAST step of dysfunction.

So no…you probably don’t just “need a massage.”
You probably need your body functioning better.

Move more. Stretch intentionally. Open your posture. Strengthen what has gone weak. Stop ignoring the warning signs before your body forces you to slow down.

Your body is smart. It will compensate to keep you moving, sitting, working, and functioning…even after an injury. But those compensation patterns can stick around long after the original pain fades.

That old tailbone injury could still be affecting:
• Your posture
• Hip movement
• Pelvic alignment
• Low back tension
• Core activation
• Even the way you walk

And when the body compensates long enough, pain often shows up somewhere completely different.

This is why I don’t just look at where it hurts. I look at the patterns your body created to protect you.

Because “pain-free” doesn’t always mean fully healed.
