When I first opened Sacred Shell Healing, the Yurt was a dream come true. It became a space where so many of us gathered to breathe, rest, heal, laugh, cry. A place to hide away from the outside world and go into our own inner worlds.

Recently, a storm passed through and knocked the yurt over, breaking four of my pink frosted crystal singing bowls. While my heart certainly felt the loss, this is also a reminder of the impermanent nature of life. Instruments can be replaced, structures can be rebuilt, and healing continues....

After much thought, we've decided that it's time for Sacred Shell Healing to transition into a more stable, long-term home.

Today, I went to see what will soon become the Sacred Shell Shed. It should be delivered within the next 2–3 weeks.

This transition feels bittersweet. The Yurt has been such a special chapter in this journey. Change is not my forte, and letting go of something you've poured your heart into is never easy. But growth often asks us to release what was, in order to welcome what can be.

If you wanting to experience the Yurt one last time, I'd love to hold space for you before this chapter closes. All sessions *for existing clients*, booking between now and the shed's arrival, will be 15% off.

And if you've already booked an appointment specifically at the Yurt in the upcoming days and weeks, I'll be reaching out personally to discuss options and keep you updated.

This was not an easy decision to make, but I chose to come home early from my Yoga Teacher Training. This video will explain everything, so please watch all from beginning to end. ♡

What I experienced didn’t align with what was presented online, and from the moment I arrived, something in me felt deeply uneasy. The environment, the energy, the lack of communication, and later discovering concerning reviews all confirmed that listening to my intuition was the right choice for me.

As someone who is deeply passionate about trauma-informed healing, safety, and creating grounded spaces for others, I believe discernment matters just as much as devotion.

Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is trust ourselves enough to walk away.

That being said, this is NOT the end of my yoga journey & I'm currently continuing my RYT-200 training through a different program that feels much more aligned, supportive, and accessible for my learning style.

I’ve already jumped back into studying, practicing, and reconnecting with why I started this journey in the first place.

My goal is still to begin offering yoga at Sacred Shell Healing by the end of July, with a focus on gentle, nervous-system-supportive, trauma-informed movement and connection.

Thank you to everyone who has checked on me in my short absence, supported me through all of this, and reminded me that it’s okay to choose yourself.

Healing work should never come from fear, pressure, or abandoning your inner voice.

Did you know that sound healing isn't a licensed profession in the United States?

That's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about continuing my education.

I'm currently a Level I Certified Sound Bath Facilitator through Rainbow Sounds, and am finally enrolled in Level II Certification!

Rainbow Sounds is accredited through Australia's My Health Association, providing structured, ethical training for sound healing practitioners.

While no certification can replace integrity, experience, and genuine care, I believe that investing in quality education helps me provide safer, more informed, and more effective experiences for my clients.

My commitment is to never stop learning so I can provide the highest quality experiences possible for the Sacred Shell Healing community.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from Sacred Shell Healing 🌈

At Sacred Shell Healing, we believe that healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

As an LGBTQ+ owned business, Pride Month holds a special place in my heart. It is a celebration of authenticity, courage, resilience, and the beautiful diversity that makes our communities stronger.

This month is also a reminder of the importance of mental health within the LGBTQ+ community. Many LGBTQ+ individuals face higher rates of anxiety, depression, trauma, isolation, and discrimination. Creating spaces where people feel seen, accepted, and supported isn't just important.... it's lifesaving.

Whether you're out and proud, quietly exploring your identity, or simply looking for a place where you can exhale and be yourself, you are welcome here.

You do not need to change who you are to belong and you do not need to shrink yourself to make others comfortable.

At Sacred Shell Healing, all identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and expressions are welcome. My hope is that every person who walks through the yurt door feels a sense of connection, acceptance, and belonging.

I’m feeling so many emotions heading into my last sound baths tomorrow before I leave for Florida on Wednesday. Excited. Grateful. Nervous. A little sad, too. I'll miss seeing everyone until I come back.

It’s hard to put into words what an honor it is to hold space for this community. I don't think I'll ever stop being moved by this work. Sacred Shell Healing has changed my life just as much as I hope it's changing yours.

As I head into this next chapter of learning, I’m so excited to deepen my understanding of yoga, sound, nervous system regulation, and healing practices so I can return with even more knowledge, intention, and offerings to share with you guys.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for growing alongside me.

This is the LAST week to book private appointments, or grab a space for my last couple of workshops, before I leave for my Yoga Teacher Training in Florida!

I’ll be away for most of June, leaving June 3rd and returning June 20th. Private sessions and appointments will officially resume on June 25th.
