Sharing a really exciting swap we just made at home because I don't gatekeep!
I'm gonna start by saying, we live out in the boonies so we have well water. Which is great because well water has alot of natural minerals, but it also comes with other things that are questionable.
I've been wanting to invest in a water filter. But it's so hard to find something you can trust. And at the price point of some of them, you just want to know for sure you're investing properly.
We go thru sooooo much bottled water. We cook, shower, clean with the well water but we would use bottled water for drinking. Tons of microplastics and who knows what else, not to mention the trash bags full of plastic bottles. 😳
Anyway! I've been following Hillside Home Store for a while and have been day dreaming about their GORGEOUS Stillwater well.
Recently, I sat down and figured up what we spent on bottled water for the past year 😳 and we, as a family, after seeing that number decided to take the leap because this beauty will easily pay for it's self in less than a year.
The filter lasts for up to a whole year and you just give the whole thing a simple cleaning once a month!
The filter is designed to take out allllll the bad and leave natural occurring minerals in tact!

You get the entire setup, including the base(which also doubles as a bowl/casserole dish/to cook sourdough/all the things).
For me, I decided to skip using it as a base and put it straight to work with sourdough 🙌

I'm mainly posting this because I'm so glad we decided to make the investment. We are loving it! And as always, any non toxic swap is an investment into a healthier you and healthier family. Weigh alllll the costs. Definitely check it out!
