The City of Weslaco, in partnership with the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley and Precinct 1 will host a FREE Mobile Produce Distribution to help provide fresh fruits and vegetables to local families.

Connecting Our Valley Heroes with the Resources They Have Earned

Every Veteran has earned more than our gratitude, they have earned access to the benefits, programs, and resources available to them through the organizations dedicated to serving those who served our nation.

With that mission in mind, SYNERGY HomeCare is proud to present the 2026 Rio Grande Valley Veterans Resource Fair, an annual community event that brings together nonprofit organizations, government agencies, Veteran service organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners under one roof with one common purpose:

Serving Those Who Served.
Many Veterans are simply unaware of the programs, benefits, and services available to them. Whether it's healthcare, caregiver support, housing assistance, mobility solutions, financial guidance, transportation assistance, Veteran benefits, or specialized community programs, this event provides an opportunity to speak directly with organizations committed to helping our nation's heroes.

Many of these services are available at little or no cost to eligible Veterans and their families, a small way of expressing our gratitude for the loyalty, dedication, and sacrifice they demonstrated while defending our freedoms.

As proud members of the Rio Grande Valley Veterans Coalition, we have witnessed the incredible impact that occurs when organizations unite behind a shared mission. Together, we can accomplish far more than any single organization ever could. That spirit of collaboration is the driving force behind this event and continues to strengthen the network of support available to Veterans throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Building on Last Year's Success
The inaugural Rio Grande Valley Veterans Resource Fair exceeded every expectation.

More than 22 organizations participated.
Over 268 Veterans, family members, caregivers, and community supporters attended.
The venue reached full capacity.
Interest was so overwhelming that we unfortunately had to turn away 26 organizations due to limited space.
That incredible response reinforced the need for an even larger event.

Bigger. Better. More Resources.
For 2026, we've secured a new venue offering three to four times more space, allowing us to welcome significantly more community partners while creating a better experience for every Veteran and family member who attends.

Veterans and their guest can look forward to:
Meeting nonprofit organizations, government agencies, Veteran service organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners.

Discovering benefits and services they may not realize they have earned or can apply for.
FREE food and refreshments while supplies last.
Door prizes throughout the event.

A Grand Prize Giveaway featuring a special item valued at over $1,600 will be taken home that day.
Because no Veteran should ever have to wonder where to turn for help.
