The exhaustion that high-performing women over 40 experience is real — and it’s almost never addressed at the root.

Two things help power your body: sunlight and food. And most women I work with are unknowingly running low on both — not because they’re not trying, but because nobody ever explained how these systems actually work together.

Your gut has to be strong enough to extract energy from what you eat.

And your mitochondria need natural light to function.

Without both — no supplement, no sleep routine, and no amount of caffeine will fix the fatigue.

This is the work I do. Save this if it resonates — and share it with a friend who’s exhausted and can’t figure out why. 💛

The conversation around protein intake requires nuance. Not every woman should be eating 40 to 50 g of protein per meal.

Your personalized health strategy should not be based on what everybody else is doing.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand protein is important, and many women are under-eating protein.

However, the message I’m hearing from many influencers & trainers is: “the more protein you eat, the faster you will lose weight.”

And although I understand that many women are not eating enough, sometimes the message is lost in translation and what women hear is: “ I can never eat too much protein”

And after working with so many women with insulin resistance and stubborn weight, it’s important to communicate that there’s NO one-size fits all.

Thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
