I read about this guy years ago. Increadible story of how being naive to certain information can at times be a greater tool of success.

A 61-year-old farmer entered a 544-mile ultramarathon and finished roughly 10 hours ahead.🏃🏆

In 1983, 61-year-old Australian potato farmer Cliff Young entered the 875-kilometre Sydney-to-Melbourne ultramarathon against experienced runners. After an alarm error sent him out hours earlier than planned on the first night, he kept moving with very little sleep. Young finished in five days, 15 hours and four minutes, winning the inaugural race by roughly ten hours.
