✨ Fine motor skills—pinching, grasping, and manipulating materials
✨ Hand-eye coordination—lining up each cereal piece with the spaghetti
✨ Attending to an activity—staying engaged as they build
✨ Social skills—participating in an activity alongside others
✨ Turn-taking—sharing materials at the table
✨ Communication—requesting cereal, choosing colors, and asking for help

🚒🎨 Little hands, BIG creativity!

We took our firefighter-themed arts and crafts outside to explore painting with our hands and paintbrushes! 🌿☀️

Along the way, we created opportunities to practice individualized ABA goals, including:

🗣️ Requesting paint, brushes, colors, and help
🎨 Making choices and naming colors
👀 Following directions and imitating actions
🤝 Taking turns and sharing materials
🧹 Transitioning between activities and cleaning up

Everyday activities offer so many opportunities to build communication, independence, and connection through play! 💚

Fellow Fields Autism ABA Therapy Center was proud to host and organize a special Assent in ABA professional training featuring Dr. Ben Seifert, PhD, BCBA, LBA, Principal and Founder of Collaborate ABA.

We were grateful to welcome our friends from BehaviorAll ABA Therapy and Behavior and Speech Institute of Texas (BSI) as we came together with one shared purpose: to learn, collaborate, and continue improving the quality of ABA services in our RGV community.

During our Community Helpers Theme Week, we were excited to welcome RN Emma, Officer Salinas, K-9 Officer Garcia, and K-9 Tarra to Fellow Fields! 🌱💚

Our clients had the opportunity to participate in special presentations where they learned about health, safety, law enforcement, K-9 service, and the important roles community helpers play in our everyday lives.
