This morning, before heading into surgery at Texas Health Frisco, I had a few quiet minutes to sit outside and enjoy the weather. It gave me a chance to reflect on the busy week we’ve had at Inspire Bariatrics.
We saw patients who are just beginning their journey, patients preparing for surgery, and patients already experiencing the benefits of the changes they’ve worked so hard to make. Seeing that progress and being trusted to be part of it is always rewarding.
When I came to Texas, one of my goals was to build the type of bariatric practice I had always envisioned—not one focused simply on surgeries or medications, but one focused on truly meeting the needs of this patient population. A practice that provides comprehensive care, long-term support, and the resources patients need to succeed.
As I sat there this morning, it struck me that we’re getting closer to that vision every day.
I’m also grateful to have added Ellea to our team as our Bariatric Coordinator. Her knowledge, compassion, and commitment to our patients have already made a tremendous impact, and we’re fortunate to have her with us.
As we continue to grow in McKinney and expand into Rockwall, I’m excited about what we’re building and the patients we’ll have the opportunity to serve in the years ahead.
