Before your little one walks through those school doors in August, make sure they're 100% ready with a trip to Kidsville Pediatrics this summer.

Here's what we take care of:

💉 Vaccines — Texas schools require updated immunization records before the first day. We'll make sure your child is fully covered and documented!

🏃 Sports Physicals — signing up for fall football, soccer, volleyball or cross country? A physical is required. Book early — these appointments go FAST!

🩺 Well Child Visit — a full head-to-toe checkup to make sure your child is growing, developing, and thriving before a brand new school year

📋 School Health Forms — we handle all required school and daycare health forms so you don't have to!

But Texas summers are NO joke, and little ones can overheat faster than you think. This June, your Kidsville team wants every DFW kiddo to have the BEST summer — safely!

💧 Hydration rule: 8–10 oz of water every 20 minutes of outdoor play
🧴 SPF 30+ every time — reapply every 2 hours!
🕒 Avoid outdoor play between 10am–4pm on peak heat days
👕 Light colors, loose clothing & a hat are your best friends
🍉 Bonus tip: water-rich snacks like watermelon, cucumbers & strawberries count too!

🚨 Know the signs of heat exhaustion in kids:
→ Heavy sweating & weakness
→ Cool, pale or clammy skin
→ Fast or weak pulse
→ Nausea or vomiting
→ Dizziness or fainting

If your child shows any of these signs, move them to a cool place, give water, and call us right away. Same-day appointments available at all three locations!
