Ricky Talbert took these pics at the Plaza Shopping Center now known as McMinnville Marketplace...a few minutes ago...I believe we were spared and the strongest happened across the street.... thoughts are truly with them while they navigate this unexpected huge storm 🙏

**Mysterious Popping**... as I posted a couple days ago...Wednesday Sept 2, 2026 there was a minor earthquake about (not for certain on miles) let's just say appr 50+ miles away that happened in Decatur TN... this sound happened appr 10+- minutes later... my customer (who approved me posting this video & I showed her the video)... the sound happens at like 11 to 13 seconds in the video.... there was no "movement" (of course I'm standing on concrete).... just really really strange....& wondering if it happened because of the "quake" which was 5+ miles underground... Nick Beres Media... but actually may have been Chase Bryant Weather that posted about it... (sorry about that mistake)
I'm no expert on this... just putting this "out there"....
Everyone have a great Labor Day weekend.... the Studio will be back open on Tues..

I own MERLE NORMAN FACIAL SPA MCMINNVILLE TN.....Really strange.... I had a customer in the Studio & we both heard a sound that sounded like glass cracking...i believe at 12.51 std... I've got it on video..will check with my customer if it's OK to post tomorrow...I saw that we had an earthquake close to us.... I'll keep you posted... & I'll check my home cameras.... goodness... what else??!!??

EAST TENNESSEE EARTHQUAKE: A 2.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:34 PM EDT today, September 2nd, near Ten Mile in Meigs County, TN, located about halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville in East Tennessee. It was 5.3 miles deep.

This small earthquake occurred in the East Tennessee Seismic Zone, which runs from Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia northeast through East Tennessee, so small earthquakes like these are very common.
