The same medicine and strength can look different because pharmacies may receive it from different FDA-approved manufacturers. The color, shape, size, or markings may change, but the active ingredient, strength, and effectiveness remain the same.

In today’s video, we use pantoprazole and gabapentin as real examples to show why this happens.
