As an LMT with nearly 20 years of experience and an LMT Birth Doula for the past 11 years, I’ve gained a wealth of body-based knowledge on how to prepare for birth, move through labor, and support the journey of bringing a baby into the world.
Over the last few years, interest in unmedicated birth has grown significantly, increasing the demand for LMT Birth Doula services. After having to decline many doula clients due to limited availability, I decided to begin offering birth preparation workshops. My hope is that these workshops will help more women achieve the labor and birth experiences they envision, allowing birth to become the sacred transition into motherhood that it was designed to be.
What the Workshop Series Includes
The Birth Prep Workshop Series consists of three (3) workshops, each approximately 2–2.5 hours long. Each session builds upon the previous one, creating a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills for women and their spouses or support persons to approach birth and labor with greater confidence.
Understanding how the body works during labor can make a tremendous difference in whether the experience feels empowering or overwhelming.
This workshop series combines educational instruction with hands-on practice to help you actively prepare your body for the birth process.
If you have questions about labor and birth, want to better understand how to work with the process, or are ready to take a more intentional and informed approach to your birth journey, this workshop series may be a great fit for you.
Current Workshop Schedule
• First Workshop: May 21, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

In the workshop setting, a “couple” refers to the pregnant woman and her chosen support person. This may be a spouse, partner, family member, or another adult who will be available to provide the hands-on support techniques learned during the workshops throughout pregnancy and labor.
