Why Supplement Sourcing Matters

Chi’s Enterprise is the manufacturer of Myomin, a professional-grade botanical supplement commonly used in functional and integrative medicine to support healthy estrogen metabolism and hormone balance. Myomin contains a blend of plant-derived ingredients and is often included in wellness plans for patients dealing with hormone-related concerns.

A recent case shared by Chi’s Enterprise is a strong reminder that not every supplement sold online is necessarily authentic.

A 50-year-old woman who had been using Myomin for ovarian cyst support normally purchased it through a trusted pharmacist. When her usual source was out of stock, she bought Myomin from Amazon instead.

After using the Amazon product, she developed severe heavy bleeding that eventually required hospitalization and blood transfusions. Her pharmacist later compared the product and noticed that, although the bottle and label looked nearly identical, the capsules smelled and looked different** from authentic Myomin.

She returned to authentic Myomin from her trusted source, and according to the case report, her symptoms began improving.

The Takeaway

A familiar label does not always mean the product inside is authentic.

Chi’s Enterprise has warned about fraudulent Myomin listings online and reports that it does not sell Myomin directly through Amazon or eBay.
