Farm to Fork: A Mebane Woman's Club Event This fundraiser helps with food security, education & libraries, arts & culture and health & wellness in our community. Childcare is not provided.

Local chefs and farmers come together to create a multi-course meal using fresh ingredients! This year we will continue our successful tradition and have set out to raise money that will support our local club’s initiatives, which include programs that support reducing food insecurities in our community.

• Contributions to local food pantries and backpack programs for children
• Support for Meals

on Wheels and other food assistance delivery programs
• Encouraging the local food movement through support of farmers and self-reliance (i.e. the Mebane Community Garden)
• Contributions to the growth and development of local farmers’ markets
• Awareness for local farmers, local farms, and for buying local produce and proteins. Local chefs are selected from popular restaurants to utilize local proteins and produce to create a farm to fork course that represents our region and their culinary style. This event is a plated five course meal with an additional passable appetizers course. Music will greet attendees as they arrive on the farm. When the meal is served, everyone is invited to seat themselves, unless you have paid to reserve a table.

A few more snapshots from Farm to Fork provided by Pixel and Post Photography. During happy hour, guests enjoyed delicious pimento cheese appetizers from Chef Millie with Odessa's which paired well with a cold beer from Bright Penny Brewing or a delicious glass of wine from Total Wine & More. The night's music was provided by the talented Mysti Mayhem and Elana Scheiner. Thank you for leading us in Neil Young's 'Harvest Moon.' What a perfect song to introduce the evening.

We are excited to announce that the Farm to Fork silent auction raised over $3600 for the Aimee Krans Memorial Scholarship fund. Thank you to all of the generous businesses that donated event tickets, dinners, gift cards, wagons, and SO much more! In 2025, the Mebane Woman's Club committed to 52 projects and while the majority are done, we still have a lot of commitments to fulfill before we close the books on this fantastic year.

Without sponsors we wouldn't have the financial means to support an Eagle Scout project (Brody built a bridge at Cates Farm Park!), the Healthy Aging Academy, Mebane Citizens Academy, recognize and appreciate our librarians and so much more!
