Maybe you don’t need another deliverance session.
Maybe what you have been trying to cast out is actually a place inside of you that needs to be healed.
There is an alarming number of people moving from one deliverance session to another, desperately seeking freedom but still feeling stuck, fragmented and confused.
Not because deliverance isn’t real or necessary. It is.
But not everything needs to be cast out.
You cannot cast out a wound.
You cannot cast out a fragmented place within the soul.
You cannot cast out a false belief that was formed through years of trauma.
You cannot cast out the part of you that learned to survive when no one came to protect you.
Those places do not need to be rejected again. They need to be brought back into truth, safety and wholeness.
Some are trying to cast away parts of themselves that God created to be there.
The sensitivity. The discernment. The depth. The very places that carry pieces of their original design.
Well
The gift does not need to leave.
The wound surrounding it needs to be healed.
Trauma is not a spirit. Trauma is often the weapon used to wound identity, distort perception, and open doors to oppression.
Deliverance may close the door and remove what entered, but someone must still tend to the wound and restore what was distorted.
Jesus paid the full price for our healing and freedom. But walking whole requires work on our part. Not striving, but actually learning to rest and walk in true identity.
It requires us to grieve what was lost, confront what we came to believe and allow the Lord into the places we learned to hide, even from ourselves.
There are no shortcuts into maturity.
An hour-long session cannot teach your nervous system safety, rebuild trust, restore identity and undo every survival pattern that formed over years.
Healing from trauma can happen in a moment by the power of Jesus in healing prayer.
Deliverance can happen in a moment.
Learning to live free is a process.
Many are simply looking for someone who understands the difference between what needs to leave and what needs to be healed, someone who will not accuse every wounded place of being demonic or teach them to reject themselves in the name of freedom. Jesus understands us because He suffered trauma on our behalf so our trauma can be healed.
The days of hiding our pain behind spiritual language are coming to an end. It is time to close the door of trauma.
The Lord is exposing hearts, not for humiliation, but for healing.
He is raising up sons and daughters who are no longer satisfied with appearing free while remaining fragmented within. They are learning to face their emotions, heal their wounds, steward their gifts and walk in the wholeness Jesus purchased for them. This is the full meaning of Shalom!
They are becoming an army of heart healers and chain breakers!
