Meet Carmelo.
At 22 years old, Carmelo already knows exactly what he wants. When I interviewed him, what stood out to me wasn’t just his artwork, it was how straightforward and direct he was about where he wants to take his career.
He’s not here to just tattoo. He wants to get better. He wants to learn, sharpen his craft, challenge himself and keep raising the standard of his work.
If you’ve seen his line work, you already know he has something special there. His lines are clean, controlled and confident.
What I really respect about Carmelo is his approach with clients. He’s patient, he listens and he understands that this isn’t just another drawing. It’s something you’re going to carry for the rest of your life. His goal is to take your idea, work with you and create something you’re proud to have on your body.
He’s chill, he’s focused and he’s hungry. Honestly, I think he’s just getting started.
I’m proud to have him at Capital G’s and I’m excited to watch what he becomes as an artist.
