Celia’s House is a 12-bedroom residence for hospice located in the Holmes Park neighborhood of Medford, Oregon. Built in 1939, the home sits in a southeast area of the city, allowing access for families and care providers across southern Oregon. The property includes landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces that support a peaceful environment for residents and their loved ones. The historic structure, combined with an eight room extension in 2018, allows Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice to provide round-the-clock palliative and end-of-life care in a setting designed for comfort, dignity, and connection.

Celia’s House is recognized and listed as a historic building on the National Register and has been a home to many. Celia’s House Historic Foundation Repair is an upcoming project to repair and stabilize the historic foundation, addressing structural shifting, uneven floors, and compromised supports to preserve the home and ensure safe, continuous end-of-life care.

Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice would like to thank the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation for our recent $25,000 grant award towards this vital foundation project—THANK YOU! / https://www.marielamfrom.org/

June in Bloom photos are IN! Thank you to all of our sponsors, staff, volunteers, partners, and attendees who supported end-of-life care. Your participation helps sustain programs such as The Care Fund, The Acton Black Family Food Program, and Spiritual Care.

These programs ensure that every person admitted to Celia’s House has access to the care they need, regardless of income, and that family members and friends feel supported during one of life’s most difficult times.

Thank you for partnering with us in this meaningful work and for joining us for a beautiful day of celebration in the gardens!

We hope everyone has a safe 4th of July weekend 🤍

Special thank you to Southern Oregon Subaru & Bowman Family Trust
