Did you know Public Health has a garden right in front of our office? Our WIC families are welcome to take home fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost!

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program is committed to helping families build lifelong healthy habits through nutritious eating and drinking, building a healthy future for all.

WIC provides a variety of simple, healthy recipes that pair perfectly with the items you can get from our garden—great for trying new foods!

Looking for ideas to add more fruits and vegetables to your meals? Check out the MN WIC Fruits and Vegetables Recipes: https://www.health.state.mn.us/people/wic/recipes/fv.html

We also encourage families to stay hydrated, especially during these hot days, by drinking lots of water. Bringing a water bottle along when you head out is a great way to keep drinking water throughout the day.
