I think about this quote a lot, honestly.

Because “who I am” isn’t just one thing. I’m the person lasering your underarms and calming your nerves before your first Brazilian. I’m also the person showing up for my neighbors, cheering on other local business owners, and trying to leave Medford a little better than I found it.

For a long time I felt like I had to pick a lane. Like being multi-passionate meant I wasn’t focused enough, serious enough, “business” enough. But I’ve stopped apologizing for that.

I love this work because it’s intimate — you trust me with your skin, your confidence, your comfort. And I love my community because it’s the same kind of trust, just on a bigger scale. Both of those things are authentically me, and both of them get to exist at the same time.

So here’s to doing it on purpose — all of it. The waxing, the lasering, the showing up, the community-building.

Not in spite of who I am, but because of it. 💜

🚨 PSA: This is a joke… but the reason behind it is very real. 😂

If you show up to your laser appointment with a fresh spray tan (or a real tan), I promise I’m not going to slap you… 😅

…but we are going to have to reschedule.

Here’s why: Laser targets the pigment in your hair follicle. When your skin has extra pigment from a spray tan or suntan, it makes it harder for the laser to safely distinguish between your skin and the hair. That can increase the risk of irritation, burns, and less effective results.

✨ The best plan?
Come to your appointment with clean, untanned skin. If you’ve had a spray tan, wait about 2 weeks (or until it’s completely faded) before your laser appointment.

My goal is always to keep your treatment safe and give you the best possible results—and sometimes that means waiting just a little longer.

When your laser provider sees a fresh spray tan before your appointment… 🏃‍♀️💨😂

Okay, maybe not actually… but we are going to have to reschedule.

Here’s why ⬇️

Laser works by targeting the pigment in your hair follicle. A spray tan (or a natural tan!) adds pigment to your skin, making it harder for the laser to distinguish between your skin and the hair. That can increase the risk of irritation, burns, or uneven results—and nobody wants that.

✨ The good news? It’s an easy fix!

If you’ve had a spray tan, simply wait until it has completely faded (typically about 2 weeks) before your laser appointment. The same goes for a natural tan—it’s always safest to treat untanned skin.

My goal is always to give you the safest treatment and the best possible results, even if that means waiting a little longer.

Trust me… your future smooth skin is worth it. 💜
