WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY FOR TEAM NiBBuS!!

This weekend, the NiBBuS CombiNed Care team proudly participated in the Southern Oregon Out of the Darkness Community Walk for Su***de Prevention, and we are absolutely overwhelmed by the turnout and support. Seeing so many of our employees, families, friends, and community members come together for one purpose was incredibly powerful.

At NiBBuS, mental health isn’t something we talk about only when there is a crisis, It’s why we are here. Every day, our team has the privilege of working alongside people who are navigating some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. We believe deeply that with the right support, compassion, resources, and people beside them, there is always hope for another chapter.

This weekend we walked for those we’ve lost, for those who are still fighting, for families and friends who have been impacted by su***de, to break the stigma surrounding mental health and most importantly, we walked to remind our community:

You are not alone, your story isn’t over. 💜

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined Team NiBBuS, donated, shared our fundraising efforts, cheered us on, or helped spread the message. Every person who participated helped make this day what it was.

Southern Oregon showed up.
Team NiBBuS showed up.
And together, we walked Out of the Darkness.

More conversation. More compassion. More tomorrows.

🌿 **Nibbus Combined Care: World Mental Health Day October 10, 2026**

October 10th is World Mental Health Day, a time to come together as a community and reaffirm our commitment to mental wellness, compassion, understanding, and connection. This year's theme, **“Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change,”** reminds us of the importance of listening to one another, honoring personal experiences, and creating a world where every voice matters.

Mental health awareness is not limited to a single day.

It's about the everyday conversations, acts of kindness, and meaningful connections that help people feel supported, valued, and understood. Every person has a story, and every story deserves to be heard without judgment.

**Ways we can support mental wellness this October:**

• **Listen with compassion:** Take time to truly hear others. Sometimes, simply being present and listening without judgment can make a meaningful difference.

• **Check in with loved ones:** A simple “How are you doing today?” can open the door to important conversations and remind someone that they are not alone.

• **Create safe spaces:** Encourage open and honest discussions about mental health, emotional challenges, and personal experiences without fear of criticism or stigma.

• **Recognize emotional struggles:** Changes in mood, withdrawal, increased stress, or feelings of hopelessness may indicate someone needs additional understanding and support.

• **Promote healthy routines:** Prioritize sleep, nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, and time for self-care. Small, consistent habits can support emotional well-being.

• **Reduce mental health stigma:** Speak openly about mental health and remind others that seeking professional support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

• **Strengthen community connections:** Reach out to neighbors, friends, family members, and coworkers. A caring and connected community helps create a stronger support system for everyone.

• **Honor lived experiences:** Every individual's journey with mental health is unique. By respecting and learning from these experiences, we can help build a more compassionate and understanding community.

At **Nibbus Combined Care**, we believe that mental wellness is an essential part of overall health. Together, we can continue building a community where people feel safe asking for help, comfortable sharing their experiences, and confident knowing that support is available.

As we recognize World Mental Health Day, let us remember that even the smallest act of kindness, understanding, or encouragement can have a lasting impact on someone's life.

**You matter. Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your presence matters.**

Together, we can build a brighter, healthier tomorrow.

🌿 Nibbus Combined Care: Su***de Prevention Month Message

September is Su***de Prevention Month, a time to come together as a community and strengthen our commitment to compassion, connection, and mental wellness. This month encourages us to pause, check in, and remind one another that support is always within reach.

Su***de prevention is not only about crisis moments.
It’s about the everyday care, conversations, and connections that help people feel seen, valued, and understood.

Ways we can support mental wellness this month:

• Check in with loved ones: A simple “How are you feeling today” can open the door to meaningful conversation.
• Create safe spaces: Encourage honest talk about stress, overwhelm, or emotional pain without judgment.
• Recognize warning signs: Withdrawal, hopelessness, or sudden changes in behavior deserve attention and compassion.
• Promote healthy routines: Sleep, nutrition, movement, and grounding practices help stabilize emotional health.
• Reduce stigma: Open conversations about mental health make it easier for others to seek support.
• Strengthen community connections: No one should navigate heavy moments alone. Support networks matter.

This month is a reminder that every one of us plays a role in building a community where hope, healing, and connection are always present.

You matter. Your story matters. Your presence matters.
