Meet April!
One of our many friendly faces here at Avenue at Medina. When you walk in to our community, you will be greeted by April’s warm smile and contagious laughter! She has been with us as a receptionist for 7 years and we have enjoyed every minute of it. From hilarious stories, awesome Halloween costumes, and everything in between- we appreciate April for always coming into the building with a mission to make everyone feel welcome💙

So grateful for our therapy team and all of the amazing things they come up with for our residents💐

🌸 Growing Skills, Friendships & Flowers! 💐

Avery, M.A., CCC-SLP, at Avenue at Medina recently started a women’s group for long-term care residents focused on maintaining and improving cognitive-communication skills while creating meaningful opportunities to build relationships with others in the facility.

Last week’s activity was especially beautiful as the group created their own flower bouquets using blooms grown right in Avery’s garden! 🌷🌼

Activities like these bring together communication, cognition, creativity, and social connection in a way that is both purposeful and fun.

Thank you, Avery, for finding thoughtful ways to help residents grow, connect, and thrive! 👏💜
