Medina County Women of the Military We are an organization of women who are serving in, or have served in the armed forces. Our dues of $12.00 a year help to offset administrative costs.

Our regularly scheduled events include membership meetings, participation in the Medina County Memorial Day parade, and social events. We welcome any women in or around Medina County who has served, or is serving in the military who is interested in sharing these goals and activities. We hope to see you at one of our events and that you will consider membership in the organization.

Join us at the MAPS Air Museum for two activity and event packed days filled with valuable resources, information, and opportunities for our veterans and their dependents!

🎉 Over 80 vendors will be on-site offering resources, services, and information designed to support our veteran community.

Again this year, we’re proud to offer free preventative dental cleanings and care through Jet Dental!

⏰ Appointments available from 8 AM–4 PM

⚠️ Veterans MUST pre-register with Jet Dental to take advantage of the free dental services. Be sure to register in advance to reserve your appointment! DD214 or veteran ID is required.

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM members of the Medina community will gather to honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

The ceremony will be held at:

This special ceremony is an opportunity for our community to stand with Gold Star Families, honor the lives and service of their loved ones, and ensure their sacrifice and legacy are never forgotten.

Please join the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter #385 on Friday, September 18 at 7:00 PM for a brief and solemn ceremony honoring the brave men and women who were Prisoners of War (POW) and those who remain Missing in Action (MIA).

This ceremony will honor POW/MIA service members from all wars and serve as a reminder that we will never forget those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
